Hello everyone, in today's tutorial, I'll show you how to resolve the "Quick Share isn't compatible with this Computer" issue and how to share files (videos, PDFs, exe, mp3, etc.) from your Android device to a Windows PC.
Quick Share is a fantastic feature that lets you wirelessly transfer photos, videos, documents, and more with just a few taps. It's a great alternative to emailing files or using bulky cloud storage services.
Here's how to set up Quick Share and start sharing files between your Android device and Windows PC. This method works for Android devices running Android version 6 or newer, and Windows PCs running Windows 10 or 11 that support Bluetooth and WiFi (with latest Bluetooth and Wi-Fi drivers). Samsung's Quick Share only works on Samsung PCs (Galaxy Books) and Samsung devices (Phones, Tablets etc...), but after Samsung and Google merged Quick Share and Nearby Share to Quick Share, it now works on all Windows 10 and 11 PCs and Android devices running version 6 and above.
The Quick Share app comes pre-installed on Android devices, but you need to download it for your PC from the official Android website (link below). Below, I've provided a step-by-step guide on how to share files from your Android to your PC or vice versa, along with an embedded tutorial video for those who prefer visual instructions.
Requirements:
