Change iPhone default notification sound in IOS 17

Hello guys! In today's tech tutorial I will show you How to change iPhone's default notification sound to a new sound in IOS 17 and also how to revert back to the iOS 16 notification sound.

Apple altered the default iPhone notification sound in iOS 17, prompting dissatisfaction among many IOS users who found it either too soft or simply preferred the previous notification sound. However, a solution has emerged with the introduction of the iOS 17.2 software update, allowing iPhone users to personalize their alert tone and opt for their preferred sound as their default notifications.

Until now, iPhone sound settings only permitted users to select their ringtone and text tones, even creating custom tones with GarageBand or purchasing them via the tone store. Users had the flexibility to choose alert sounds for various notifications like calls, messages, voicemails, emails, calendar, reminders etc.
However, the ability to modify the default notification sound was previously inaccessible, leaving everyone with the same notification sound. With the introduction of iOS 17.2, Apple has now provided the option to customize this setting.
