Requirements:
1. An Android, iPhone, or PC.

3. Install Link to Windows on your phone.
4. Bluetooth, WiFi.
5. A Microsoft account.
Procedure:
1. Make sure your computer is running Windows 10 or any other later version of Windows, eg, Windows 11 23H2.
2. Also, make sure your Android phone must be running Android 7.0 or any other later version of Android like Android 14.
3. Launch Microsoft Store and install the Phone Link app on your PC. Launch the phone link app on your PC, you will be required to complete five (5) steps;
- Get started
- Sign in
- Pair device
- Review Permissions
- All set!
4. You are requested to install the link to Windows app on your Android device via the Google Playstore app.
Note: Some phones like HONOR, some Samsung devices like s9, s10, 20 and Surface Duo devices that are running Android 9.0 or the latest version of Android comes with the link to Windows app preinstalled.
5. Launch link to Windows app on your Android phone and then allow all the required permissions to the app.
6. Get started: On your PC, click on "Android" to start the setup process. Follow the on-screen instructions to link your phone to your PC.
7. Sign in: You will be required to sign in to your Microsoft account if you have any, if not you will be required to sign up for a Microsoft account.
8. Pair your phone and PC, you will be required to choose your preferred way of linking your devices, either "manually" or "pair with QR code."
9. Review Permissions: In the Link to Windows app on your phone, select the features that you want to use on your PC via the link to phone app such, as text messaging, viewing of photos and videos, phone calls, and screen mirroring.
10. All set: Once both your devices are connected, you can control certain aspects of your phone from your PC. For example, you can access and send text messages, play music, view photos, and even mirror your phone's screen to your PC.
